Is the term transsexual/transgender really necessary?
I've been thinking today, if someone is a transsexual Let's say for this example a MtF , then that means they have already undergone what is needed to become the other gender, which they feel they really are. Well if you're physically female, and emotionally female, and you consider yourself female in every single way, aren't you just a regular female now? If you really are 100 % female, then is there a need for a label for what you used to be considered?I'm not intending to be rude, it just seems odd to be labeled for something you aren't anymore, or maybe never even considered yourself. It's kind of like a bisexual person who later discovers they're straight, but after affiliating with a heterosexual orientation, they're still considered bisexual. Mind you, I'm not saying that transsexual people should no longer be part of the GBLT shortened down for convenience community, far from it, since they've been through all the hardships we have. Are the terms transgender and transsexual only there for people who can't look past the physical body of a person? Like if I see a MtF person, I'll consider them to have always been female, regardless of what their body's shape was or is currently.Hmm I dunno. I'm sorry if I'm being rude, it's just been wrapped around my brain today. What's your opinion on this? Robin I was meaning how when someone believes that they are bisexual, but then later discover that their preferences have shifted, in the same way a lot of straight people believe they're straight, only to become gay later.I know what transgender and transsexual means. I'm saying that regardless if they have had the surgery or not and gone from transgender to transsexual , as far as I'm concerned they are still whatever gender they affiliate with, even if they haven't gotten surgery yet. I consider a transgender MtF a female as much as I do a transsexual MtF. I hope this makes sense. In which by transgender MtF I mean a male who feels that they are really a female.

Someone please help, am i transgender?
I am a 15 year old " boy" , for years now I have had feelings of wanting and needing to be a girl. Every time I see a girl, I find myself jealous of them. In attempts to indulge these feelings I have recently grown out my hair, buying feminine hair and body products, buying some girls' clothing, practicing using a female voiceconducting research into transgenderism, looking up female names I might like to go by, taking beter care of myself, trying some non hormonal methods of feminising my bodies, and using exercises to feminize my body. I haven't told anyone about these feelings and i am worried because if i really do feel this way then my body is changing in a way that horrifies me.

I need some tips and help on maybe being transgender (girl to boy)?
I need you guy's help. Idk where to start. I'm confused. So I'm a 16 year old girl. I'm not very girlish. I don't wear makeup, I don't like dressing up and getting pedicures and all that. I like T shirts and jeans, but I don't like most girl tshirts b c the sleeves are so short and they're so tight. When I was little I played w matchbox cars, and action figures, I also hung out w guys until like sixth grade. Could I be...idk what to call it...could I be like the people who changed from female to male? Or am i just a really tomboyish girl? Is it wrong? b c I'm a christian. I like guys tho. idk...should I even think about this? and if so where would I start?

I am a male to female transgender who likes to crossdress as a male for sexual purposes?
is that too strange? tell me your take.i asked this three times before but they never showed up on YA

Am I transgender, I'm really confused?
I'm really confused. All my life growing up I've always wanted to be a fashion model but not for men's clothes. I always wanted to be like the beautiful women fashion models. Most of my friends are girls and I really can't relate to other guys. They want to be rough and play sports but I don't want any of that. Everyone calls me a fag but I'm definitely not gay I'm not turned on by other guys and I don't want to be with a guy. I want to get my ears pierced but my parents won't let me. They say only girls can do that. I kind of wish I was one because I really prefer girly thing over guy things anyway. But I don't think I'm transgender because I like girls. I don't want to get a sex change and then have to have sex with guys cause I don't like guys. I really don't know what to do and I'm really confused about things and it seems that no one understands because everyone is either straight, gay, or trans but I'm none of those.

Could a male to female transgender become a female boxer?

Does crossdressing make me transgender?
I am already bi, and i love to crossdress. I really prefer women's clothing. This makes me just wierd right? Not a transgender. I figure not. I also feel that this might be a stupid question and i just wanna make sure. Sorry if i offended anyone. I am just curious.

Whats the difference between being transgender and transsexual?
Sorry, i have always wanted to know. Thanks for your answers x
